The Spafford Children's Center is on the highest point of the Old City wall
between the Damascus Gate and Herod's Gate. The center is in the El-Sa' dieh
quarter in a historic  compound bought by the Spafford family from Turkish
general: Yusrf Agha el-Duzdar.

From the Damascus Gate:

Turn left inside the gate and left again at the gate cafe (
ash sheikh lulu
street)
Follow this street up the hill, soon you will come to an intersection (kharet sa'diteh street) in front of you a will be a  wall with a red crescent moon. Turn left just on the other side of this wall and proceed about 20 yards to the Spafford Center Entrance (a sign in English is on the outer wall).

From Herod's Gate:


Turn right upon passing through the gate and proceed up the pathway along the
outer edge of the city wall. Turn right at the first intersection (Kharet Sa'idyeh) and proceede aproximately 100 meters to the intersection with

Turn right at this intersection and proceed about 20 yards to the Spafford Center Entrance (a sign in English and Arabic is on the outer wall).
