The Old City, Jerusalem
The Spafford Children’s Center is on the highest point of the Old City wall between the Damascus Gate and Herod’s Gate. The center is in the El-Sa’ dieh quarter in a historic compound bought by the Spafford family from Turkish general: Yusrf Agha el-Duzdar.

From the Damascus Gate:
Turn left inside the gate and walk up the steps along the city wall on the inside. Follow about 100 steps up the hill to an intersection with KharetSa’dieh Street and Muna Court. Turn left, up 30 steps. into a cul-de-sac with a sign on the right hand wall saying Spafford Children’s Center pointing upwards. At the end of the stairs is the entrance (a sign in English and Arabic is on the outer wall). Enter by the right hand door to Reception.

From Herod’s Gate:
Turn right upon passing through the gate and proceed up the pathway along the outer edge of the city wall. Turn right at the first intersection (KharetSa’diyeh) and proceed approximately 100 meters to the intersection with Ash Sheikh Lulu Street/ Muna Court, Turn right at this intersection and you’ll see a sign on the right hand wall saying Spafford Children’s Center pointing upwards. At the end of the cul-de-sac steps is the entrance (a sign in English and Arabic is on the outer wall). Enter by the right hand door to Reception.
