Speech therapy

SCC speech therapists work with children who have speech and language problems. Speech problems are often connected with learning or psychological issues and need a multi-disciplinary approach involving the psychologist and social worker in the process.

Therapists also work in the community conducting workshops for mothers and teachers to raise awareness about the need for early recognition of speech problems and to ensure they know the signs displayed by a child at risk of developing speech and language issues.
