The Spafford Children’s Center and its fundraising charities only require you to provide us with the personal information necessary for us to complete a specific task you’ve requested (for example process your donation, send you our newsletter and updates about events, or contact you in the event of a problem.)
You can provide your details online, via email or by post.
Disclosing your information
The Spafford Children’s Center and its fund raising charities will not share your personal information with any third parties without your explicit approval, unless we are required to do so by relevant law enforcement authorities.
Data storage
We have secure processes in place for the storage of the personal information in our database of supporters and only a very few trained personnel have access to this. If you have subscribed online or asked to receive UK updates via email, your details will be stored on our secure online database managed by Mail Chimp and their privacy policy can be found here. In the US updates are sent directly to your email address.
In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will alert affected users without delay and report the breach to the relevant authorities (in the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office IOC and in the US the Federal Trade Commission).
