Learning English at SCC

Palestinian parents know that learning English is important for their children’s future. They bring their kids to the Spafford Children’s Center where certified teachers work one-on-one or in small groups with kids who have experienced trauma, have learning disabilities, or need extra help to learn.  It is not easy to master a new alphabet and different sounds, but the children work hard and soon are earning stars and applause from their teachers.
