Music used in therapy and as a stress reliever

Music stirs the soul, music is a refuge, music is pleasure. Music is an integral part of the services at the Spafford Children’s Center in Jerusalem. Children and teens learn to drum, to sing, to move with the rhythm.

The teachers and therapists at SCC know that children improve their fine and gross motor skills through playing instruments, but mostly they want the children to experience a release from the stress of their days, to feel pride in their accomplishments, and to feel joy and have fun.
